Sound familiar? It is worth a call.
- White scale on faucets, shower doors, and the kettle
- Water heater or tankless failing early
- Dry skin and dull laundry
- Chlorine taste or smell from the tap
- Spots on every dish out of the dishwasher
We install and service four categories. Salt-based softeners remove hardness outright and protect every appliance downstream. Salt-free conditioners do not remove minerals but stop them scaling, which suits homes with drainage or discharge restrictions. Whole-house carbon filters take out chlorine and chloramine for every tap and shower. Under-sink reverse osmosis gives one tap drinking water without the taste. Most homes here pair a softener or conditioner with a carbon filter. We test your water on site, install with a bypass loop so the system can be serviced without shutting the house, and set up a service schedule for salt and media.

Book a water test visit. We measure hardness, chlorine, and pressure at your house.
Flat quote on the system that fits, with the annual salt and media cost stated up front.
Install is usually half a day, including the bypass and drain.
We walk you through salt fill and regeneration settings before we leave.
What this county does to plumbing.
Most of the county's water is imported from the Colorado River and the State Water Project, and both arrive hard. Every water heater we replace early and every pinholed copper line we reroute has scale as a contributing cause. A softener is the single install that lengthens the life of everything else in the plumbing system. Two local details matter: some HOAs and older neighborhoods restrict softener discharge to the sewer, which is where a salt-free conditioner comes in, and a lot of homes here have no loop for a softener, so the install includes plumbing one in at the main.
Flat, in writing, before we start.
Quoted flat after the water test, system and install together, with the ongoing salt or media cost written in the quote so there is no surprise in year two. One-year labor warranty on the install, plus the manufacturer's warranty on the equipment.

Softener or salt-free?
A softener actually removes hardness and is the better protection for appliances. Salt-free stops scaling without removing minerals and is the choice when discharge is restricted or you do not want to handle salt. We recommend based on your water test and your setup.
Will it help my water heater?
Yes. Scale is the main reason tanks and tankless units fail early here. Soft water removes that cause.
Does the whole house get filtered?
With a whole-house carbon filter, yes, every tap and shower. Reverse osmosis is one tap only.
How often do I add salt?
Roughly monthly for a family of four. We set the regeneration schedule to match your use.
Do I have a loop for it?
Many homes here do not. Adding one is part of the install and in the quote.
Do you service systems you did not install?
Yes, for the major brands.
